This image of a Fox looking up towards the moon was creating through a process called Lino cutting where the image is carved into the lino and then inked before printing by hand. This particular image is a two colour process called reduction lino printing which requires accurate registration and even colour application. 
 
It is a lovely size to brighten up a book shelf or window sill and makes a beautiful gift.
